Extra AcademicsYour Child's Finest Learning Experience
Co- curricular activities complement and enhance the academic structure of De Paul School. The students are divided into four houses and are encouraged to participate in various extra-curricular and club activities to broaden their interests and develop skills.
The house activities are planned under the supervision of house-in-charge teachers and spearheaded by the house captains and vice captains. The school organizes various Co-curricular activities, Sports and Games and Art events every year for the overall development of the mental, intellectual, physical, spiritual and psychological abilities of our students.
For competitions conducted in the literary and cultural fields and in sports and games, entries are received and are assessed on inter-house basis. The best performing house is awarded a rolling trophy. De Paul School provides its students proper guidance and chances to take part in various competitions held in the School, Regional and State levels.
CCA Programmes
Today bookish knowledge alone will not suffice in the field of education.
Learning by doing has great role to play. All round development of the student is ensured through the various co-curricular activities conducted in the school. The school offers co-curricular activities such as Yoga, Vocal Music, Instrumental Music(Keyboard, Guitar, Violin, Tabala, and Drums), Dance, Karate, Roller Skating, Craft etc.
Sports and Games
Sports and Games are also given due importance at De Paul.
The school has an active Physical Education team to provide training to students in Athletics, Outdoor games such as Basket Ball, Volley Ball and Foot Ball and indoor games like Table Tennis and Shuttle Badminton. A two-day Annual Athletic Meet and Games for the Secondary and Senior Secondary students are conducted and an Annual Sports Meet for the primary and nursery classes is held every year. Our school Sports and Games allow each student the opportunity to develop skills, fitness, correct behaviour and attitudes of fair play.
Arts
Fine Arts help us to be refined and gentle.
It has to be practiced and promoted. There are various occasions to cultivate and develop these skills. "Art does not solve problems, but makes us aware of their existence," sculptor Magdalena Abakanowicz has said. Arts education, on the other hand, does solve problems. Education policies at De Paul almost recognize the value of arts. Here, at De Paul, students are encouraged to participate in various opportunities that surround them both inside and outside the classrooms to simulate creative and personal talents of each individual.
Clubs
Various clubs functioning in our school provide ample opportunities for the children to develop their talent and skills.
De Paul School has a variety of clubs like Arts & Literary club, Science club, Social Science club, Mathematics club, Nature club and Health & Awareness club. Trees and seeds of vegetables were distributed to the students under the leadership of nature club.
