Our History & Milestones
Starting from 1966, the school has witnessed many epoch-making events which have changed the course of history and the condition of society in this small village (Nazareth Hill), Kerala and all over the nation. Rev. Fr. Sebastian Karikulam VC donated the land patrimony to build this school. And the rest is history.
1967 Feb 4
- School officially inaugurated by His Excellency Mar. Sebastian Vayalil, Bishop of Palai.
1974
- First SSLC Batch.
1979
- A new Block constructed.
- Nov: Sub Junior Sports Champions - Educational District Pala.
1981 Jan
- Champions in Kottayam District Volleyball Competition.
1983 Feb
- Champions in Kottayam District Basketball Competition.
1984 Nov
- Overall Champions in Kottayam District Sports meet.
1985 May
- Master Bijumon KK secured 15ᵗʰ Rank in the SSLC Examination.
1987
- Jan: First Prize for Ganamela and Margamkali in State Level Youth Festival.
- Feb: First position for Basketball and Football in Kottayam District.
1988 Nov
- Sanctioned SSLC Examination centre.
- Overall Champions in School Youth Festival, Educational District Kottayam.
1989
- Kum. Betsy Mani secured Highest marks in SSLC Examination, Educational District Pala.
- Best School Award - Religious Educational Institution Pala Dioceses.
1991
- Silver Jubilee Year.
- New Auditorium Blessed and Inaugurated by His Excellency Mar. Joseph Pallickaparambil, Bishop of Palai.
1992
- Master Shyam S secured First Rank & Master Joby Augustine secured 12ᵗʰ Rank in the SSLC Examination.
- Started LP Section.
- Venue for Sub District Youth Festival.
1995
- New School Building was inaugurated by Sri. Oommen Chandy, Finance Minister of Kerala.
- Started KG Section.
- Master Justin George secured 8ᵗʰ Rank in the SSLC Examination.
1997
- School Bus Facility stated to provide.
1998
- Inaugurated Computer Academy by Sri. P. J. Joseph, Minister of Education.
2000
- Kum. Neethu Jacob secured 14ᵗʰ Rank in the SSLC Examination.
2001
- Kum. Nimmy Thankam Philip secured 10ᵗʰ Rank in SSLC Examination.
- Master Arjun Kartha secured 17ᵗʰ Rank in SSLC Examination.
2002
- Kum. Nimmy Merin Mathew secured 10ᵗʰ Rank in the SSLC Examination.
- Recognition for Higher Secondary Course, started Science Batch.
2003
- Master Jayachandran N secured 7ᵗʰ Rank in SSLC.
- Master Sudarshan Vishnu secured 13ᵗʰ Rank in SSLC.
- Higher Secondary Building Inaugurated on 15ᵗʰ November 2003.
2004
- Kumari Parvathi Chandran won 5th Rank (SSLC).
- Kumari Uthara Mohan won 8th Rank (SSLC).
- Master Jerry Jose won 12th Rank (SSLC).
2006
- Ruby Jubilee Year of the School Celebrated.
2007
- Overall championship in UP & HS section and second for LP section in the Sub District Youth Festival.
2012
- Nine students secured full A+ in the SSLC examination.
2013
- Fourteen students secured full A+ in the SSLC examination.
2014
- First overall champions in the Sub District Youth Festival.
- Alumni meeting held on 26th December 2014.
2015
- Overall champions in the Sub District Youth festival, Work Experience & IT Fair.
- Golden Jubilee Alumni meeting was held on 15th August 2015.
2016
- Golden Jubilee Year.
2019
- Master Abhishek Anilkumar participated in District and State level sports meet, won 9ᵗʰ position in State level 200 mtr. Race conducted at Kannur University Stadium.
2021
- 39 full A+ in SSLC Examination.
- 12 Full A+ in Higher Secondary Examination.
2024
- Venue for School Youth Festival.
- Overall championship in School Sasthramela and Kalolsavam - Kuravilangad Sub-District.
2025
- Zero waste campus Award 2025 - Best Un-aided school in Kottayam District.
- School Kalolsavam Kuravilangad Sub district overall First.
